EEA Story Map
While climate change is a global issue, it will affect different regions in different ways. To tackle its impacts as best we can, we must therefore tailor adaptation strategies to the relevant regional and local contexts. This requires understanding those contexts and how climate change will interact with them.
The EEA story map can be helpful for this. The tool compiles a series of maps showing how different climate events will affect selected areas in Europe differently. The key issues highlighted in the maps are drought, heavy rain and floods, forest fires, sea-level rise and coastal flooding.
